Holiday Fireworks & Special Occassions
Independence Day, New Year’s, Diwali & More
There’s no better way to celebrate special occassions than with fireworks. Here are some common holidays and observances where fireworks can make the event infinitely more memorable:
Independence Day
The Fourth of July is traditionally celebrated with spectacular fireworks displays across the United States, with Americans using an estimated 436.4 million pounds of consumer fireworks annually.
New Year’s Eve
These dazzling spectacles symbolize new beginnings and hope for the year ahead. Blowing stuff up (in a safe and controlled way) is also just a fun and colorful way to ring in the new year.
Diwali
Diwali, also known as the “festival of lights,” is a major five-day festival celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, and some Buddhists. Fireworks are a significant part of the Diwali celebrations, representing the dispelling of darkness and the joyous spirit of the festival.
Weddings
Weddings often incorporate fireworks displays as a grand and romantic way to celebrate the union of two people, creating a spectacular visual backdrop for the joyous occasion. Sparklers are among the most common products for weddings for when guests bid farewell to the happy couple when they drive away as newlyweds.
Quinceañeras
Quinceañeras, significant coming-of-age celebrations for young Latina women turning fifteen, sometimes include fireworks displays as a vibrant and memorable part of the festivities
Birthdays
Birthday celebrations, while often smaller and more personal, can occasionally feature fireworks as a special and exciting way to mark the occasion.
Gender Reveal
Gender reveal parties have become a popular trend, and some include fireworks, often in pink or blue, to reveal the baby’s gender in a visually dramatic way. Yes, it’s for revealing the gender of a baby that hasn’t been born yet, and that’s it. Not going to make that mistake again.
